I took the plunge (and dug deep into the wallet) and got seven all in ones for Lyla. I'm very pleased with them, though the one size fits all means she has an extra padded rump right now (until she's a bit larger I suppose). And thanks too for "permission" to be a hybrid. I find it much less stressful knowing I can still use a disposable if I've not done the laundry or my mother in-law is coming to keep the baby. =)the ruffhousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16022388543966263263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2276262099850237104.post-53330011896058287342008-05-19T20:46:00.000-07:002008-05-19T20:46:00.000-07:00This sounds crazy, but when Owen was limited with ...This sounds crazy, but when Owen was limited with teeth, I made chicken pot pie - he loved it! He likes this so much that if he doesn't have what is on our plates he will point & make his "I want" grunt. I avoid peanuts & shell-fish & eggs per our pediatrician's instructions.

For his day-care lunches, I buy the frozen turkey meatballs, breaded chicken, and fish sticks at Trader Joe's and frozen veggies already diced. (At least these are better quality!!) Sometimes he has a grilled cheese sandwich or Coleman's hot dogs (100% natural with no casings). I made pancakes this weekend and froze some for breakfast. I have plans to make macaroni & cheese, and a tofu breakfast scamble and start making some of the thing I buy from Trader Joes....bit by bit & I'll get there :)Kelliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09302764021777615840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2276262099850237104.post-16926224472169103112008-05-09T15:17:00.000-07:002008-05-09T15:17:00.000-07:00I think you could just as easily freeze whole rice...I think you could just as easily freeze whole rice and beans. We are almost to the point where he could eat whole rice and beans, too. The freezer is great because a whole can of beans would go bad in the fridge before being eaten and this way you can save it for whenever. Let me know how it goes! And, if you have any other ideas. We are looking for more finger food options.Karinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10119068311164346004noreply@blogger.com
